“Consistently good breakfast. They do get busy to arrive early. Order at the counter and then sit down. The menu isn’t huge, but they have a good mix of items. Food is made fresh. I wish they offered mash potatoes as an option with the roasted chicken. And I feel cheated when I order the breakfast combo plate. The pancakes are less than half the size of the regular pancakes. Pancakes are so cheap to make!”

“We went there for dinner. The clam and muscle appetizer was disappointing. At least 5 of the mussels were not fresh. Mom ordered the seafood pasta and also said some of her mussels in her meal were also not fresh. My lamb ribs were was very good tho. A little tough, but overall, the outside was braised very well, the sauce was excellent, mash potatoes smooth and veggies not overdone. We also had another pasta dish that was heavy on cheese, butter and mushrooms. The pasta was disappointing. Service was very good and it was a little noisy and hard to talk and hear across the table.”

“Wonderful flavors in a unique setting. Service was fantastic. The menu was very approachable and well rounded. Prices are high but the quality reflects it. Pictured us the steak bruschetta and goat cheese macaroni side dish.”

“Sure, it’s another fancy coffee shop in SF BUT I like their people, their coffee, pastries, and the concept of marrying design and coffee culture. While Valencia location is fancy and a bit too snobby for me. I enjoy this location in Bay View with low key surroundings, nice seating inside and outside, and the same quality. I treat myself here once in a while. Go for their drip coffee at $3 to hang out and get some stuff done on a phone or just hang back and enjoy C&W’s nice vibes.”

“Wish I found this cute store earlier! Love the glass light bulb. Definitely generous with the portion size! And it was pretty cheap! ($6.50 including the light bulb for ~$2 extra). I decided to get peach black tea with mixed jelly. Fresh orange and lemon slices made the drink refreshing :)”

“This hidden gem of a bakery nestled in Noe Valley is an amazing addition to the neighborhood. My new go-to place to order an Americano and almond croissant to start my Saturday mornings. The croissant was the perfect combination of sweet and crispy, with the almond paste oozing with flavor. Yum....can’t wait to try the breakfast entrees next time. Everything looked so fresh & delicious!”

“I strongly recommend the wild pepper, the service is wonderful, the servings generous. The food is excellent, and reasonably priced. It is not a large location but not crowded either. Many regulars frequently eat here. The decor is beautiful and traditional, with modern accents. A well hidden jewel waiting to be discovered!”

“I came in there one morning and it was busy. Nothing wrong with busy but how well they manage to work the line of customers. The staff was friendly and engaging. They have a lot of pastries that at times clog their countertop. Ordering was OK. The counter for the sugar and other stuff was somewhat small. It was off to the side near the order counter which made it easy to have people bump into you. I felt like I had to rush to get everything in my coffee so not to get hit. The mocha I had was not too flavorful. It had a nice design on top. Also it was way too hot to handle even with a sleeve on it. It too a while for my drink to cool down enough to drink it. Overall, an OK place if it is not to crowded.”

“Came here for dinner our first night in CA . We ordered the bossum medium size for 2. It was more than enough. The flavours of this dish was so appetizing and delicious! Highly recommend wrapping the pork with the pink radish that's given. To die for! We will miss this place once we get back to Toronto.”

“This place was awesome! The prices were not bad at all and the food tasted great. My favorite was a tie between the pork belly bun and the spicy chicken (I think that is what it's called) but honestly they all seem great. Also the customer service was amazing!!!”
