“Hulu Wa is located in an unassuming location behind a gas station, but it’s worth leaving the main road to try their food. I had the sesame beef lunch special that included a hot and sour soup. Both items were flavorful and the beef had a perfect crisp. So good! The waiter was also very nice, attentive with checking in at a decent pace and refilling my water. I’d like to go back sometime to try their other items 😊”

The service was great and they were very fast to deliver our food. The prices where fairly priced and the food was great. If you are looking for a taste of Italy, then this place is the place :-) I ordered the meatballs and spaghetti and my partner ordered the pepperoni pizza. The food was absolutely delicious and was hot. The flavours tasted so fresh and it was a great treat. The service was great. The lady served us with a smile and we loved it. It’s situated on a busy noisey street but you could not hear the noise from instead. They played soothing music that just lit up the experience. Loved it. Will be back again.”

Neatly stacked vegetables & fruit, new self-serve deli!, nice service deli, very clean! Still low food prices. Some neat high end fancy food choices too. The bakery cakes were professional looking. It is a pleasure to shop in this store. I am highly impressed by the great remoleded store & it's new layout too. I guess this store competes with Trader Joe's nearby & the soon to be built nearby Whole Foods, & perhaps the small Target food store nearby. This store's prices are quite low, & the food is of high quality. So far I have not read of food recalls for Lucky, but I keep reading about food recalls at TJ's & some at Whole Foods. It's not their fault, but still. It is what they choose to sell that keeps getting recalled. Not so far at Lucky! May, 2021. Their buffet bar is open again. Tasty. 7/8/21: The hot bar food was good.”

“We're on vacation from the South, and California traffic had my nerves so messed up that I tossed my dinner night before last. So, last night we decided to just order in. The kids and I got excellent sushi from next door to the hotel, and we were going to order pizza hut or dominoes for my husband, who has the palate of a toddler. Neither delivers to our Bay-view hotel, oddly enough. We asked the front desk hostess if any local pizza places delivered, and she gave us pamphlets from 2. One is not delivering due to the plague (sad, as it was a pizza & shawarma spot and I totally placed to order some falafel and tabouli, sigh) so... Pizza Zone to the rescue! We called, they assured us they could deliver, AND in 40 minutes or less. They were friendly, helpful, and fast. I ordered an "XL fam size" thinking that would provide him dinner, breakfast, and maybe lunch, even if the kids helped. That monstrosity is the biggest pizza I've ever seen. It was also hot, delicious, extra cheesy, with a hella good crust and piles of meat, and it arrived in under 40 minutes... Which I find superhuman considering the traffic everywhere and construction literally *at* our hotel sidewalk. 10/10, would recommend.”
