For this reason, we took our own a couple times so we could eat their delicious salt and pepper tofu. Wonderful, friendly, and accommodating service and tasty food. Reasonable prices.”

Thai Kitchen

Address: 107 N Sacramento St, Lodi, CA 95240, USA

Restaurant

“If you like food. Please give this place a shot. There is truly something for everyone here. The place has seating for only about 20 people, so there may be a wait. Staff is extremely attentive and friendly, they know how to treat their patrons with respect. I tried the crispy noodles with chicken and the yellow curry (vegan). Both were OUTSTANDING. The noodles we're amazing and were mixed in a medley of veggies and broth, which had an amazing flavor and was cooked perfectly. And I have had curry at other Thai restaurants but this one was better than any I've had by a long shot. If you've ever tried Thai cusine, but didn't care for it, definitely give this place a shot. It will change your mind. This really comes as close as I can imagine to traditional Thai food, not too Americanized like others.”

“Eh, this place has lost its shine for me. The last two times we have been there, my omelet was wet in the middle. So although there are really high quality ingredients in there, they were soaked in raw egg bubbles and i couldn't gag it down. Waitress was oblivious. You would think when i needed a box for my *entire* breakfast she would have asked what was wrong, but she seemed to have a hearing difficulty and walked away from me every time i tried to say anything. Maybe the roar of the blender that was going off almost the whole time we were there had made her deaf too. Anyway, at almost $15 for an omelet, I would have liked to have been able to eat it. My dogs are gonna be stoked though, they like raw eggs.”

Richmaid Restaurant

“Old school diner with early bird classics. My mom loves to come here for the corned beef on St Patrick's day. I tried the broasted chicken. Nice and crispy, not salty. I'll order it again next time I'm in town. Parking was tough, it may have been more difficult because of the holiday. They gave a sugar free desert with the meal. It was a green colored white cake. I liked the sentiment.”

Champion Thai Restaurant

Address: 116 W Turner Rd ste a, Lodi, CA 95240, USA

Restaurant

“This small but welcoming establishment doesn't appear to be much else besides a small town purveyor of Asian cuisine, which they are, however the food speaks to something more going on here. As other reviews will tell you, the service is great, and every single review that says that is absolutely correct. Service with a smile; good, but light conversation; and beverage upkeep made sure I never was without a crisp, refreshing glass of mint-citrus-apple infused water. I'd come back again just for the water, it's really that good. Then we get to the food. My whole table was given egg drop soup to start with. A small, humble appetizer that was seasoned really well and had me draining the bowl in seconds. I then ordered a lunch special combination plate. All plates come with white sticky rice and a small, simple salad. Then you get two choices of entrees, of which I opted for yellow curry and Thai Grilled pork. The curry might be the best curry I've had from a small town place like this. The soup on its own was so flavorful, but add to it well cooked and seasoned chicken (the protein option I went with, but they also have beef, pork, and tofu), and hearty cuts of vegetables, and you've got yourself a real good curry going. The good times didn't end there, as I found myself marveling at the flavor and tenderness of the Thai Grilled pork. Cook just right in thin fillets served sliced, it was a fantastic balance of sweet and savory, with a hint of bitterness to cut through it coming from the char the grill provided. The time spent here was an overall pleasant and surprising experience, one that garnered a high rating and a family of repeat customers; even if it's only for the water.”
