Mo's SmokeHouse BBQ

Good place to eat after a day at the beach. The food has lots of flavor, and the restaurant has a relaxed feel. I tried the sampler plate, that came with chicken, pulled pork, and ribs, few other goodies along as well. Food was very good, almost has a sweet taste to it. The portions are good and food goes down easy, not heavy at all. The staff is very friendly and nice to kids. I would recommend going here if you never have before.
Also, if you are looking for a Santa Maria style BBQ, this isn't it.

When walking through Pismo just follow the smell of BBQ and you'll find this place! Has the best ribs ever! The signature BBQ sauces are the bomb! My 10 yr old requested this for her bday! ? we on our way now from Fresno.

Mo's Smokehouse BBQ is a treat for my taste buds whenever I'm in Pismo. The pulled pork sandwich is so tasty, loaded with tender juicy pulled pork. They top off the bun with creamy cole slaw. The St. Louis Ribs were tantalizingly smoky and fall off the bone tender. The BBQ Beans are also right up there with my all time favorites. They have just the right amount of tang to them. We usually buy a quart container of the beans, as this prolongs the BBQ experience, more than just grabbing a quick lunch does. This little hole-in-the-wall barbeque place really delivers the goods!

Also try Old West Cinnamon Rolls around the corner in Pismo. You can watch them work the dough and make the rolls fresh right in front of you!

I'm from Compton and just happened to pass this place as my wife and I were heading to the Pismo Beach. As we were heading back to our vehicle we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. Everything was great. The ribs, the biscuit, the beans, the hot link and the fries. It would be awesome if they added a little more sides to their menu like macaroni and cheese, greens, or mashed potatoes. But everything will did try on this particular visit did not disappoint. Their customer service was great also. I would definitely recommend this place and come back when I'm in town.
