“What a delicious pizza! You might be thinking ‘doesn’t SLO already have a lot pizza places?’ That may be true but My Friend Mike’s has now replaced previous favorites as the BEST in town. The crust is so flavorful (thanks, sourdough!) and a perfect texture. The sauce is clearly made from good quality, and all ingredients are clearly sourced with intention and attention to detail. We tried 3 pies (mushrooms & prosciutto, peppers & pepperoni, and sausage & caramelized onions) and all 3 were delicious. Easy to order ahead of time and pay online. Good prices for very delicious, gourmet pizza. VERY friendly staff inside who want to chat about pizza! Highly recommend My Friend Mike’s.”

“The food and service here is wonderful. We stopped in for dinner and ordered a "Honey's Deluxe" pizza, salad and drinks. The salad was generous and they even divided it into 2 bowls for us even though we ordered one (that was nice and counts as good customer service in my book). The pizza was delicious and was baked and delivered to our table very quickly. The staff was very considerate and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be going here again. 👍”

“A delicious Thai restaurant and a great value. Curries are only $13 and come with a side of rice. My hot curry was nice and spicy (only slightly toned down from an "authentic Thai spice scale"). “Delicious pizza. Deep dish, very filling. It's not the cheapest pizza for the size but it is twice as thick as normal pizza so even though the pizza wasn't huge our family was full. There is a full bar, I may be wrong but I think it's the only pizza place around where you can order cocktails, not just wine and beer. No kids menu, but it's pizza so hopefully your kids are good with sharing whatever you are getting. There is the sweetest older woman with a double personality that serves there. She is delightful. The setting is quirky, it was a traditional Mexican restaurant prior to being Benny's. He repainted and invited customers to bring in photos that cover the wall.”

“We showed up on Thursday night with no reservation. The hotel was pretty much sold out. We had a very nice, helpful man named Steve trying to find us a room. Not only did he get us in, but our rooms were spectacular. We were two couples and we wanted to stay one more night and we were able to keep our same rooms with the great juggling the hotel desk did to get us covered. I love this place and will definitely come back again soon.”

“I would like to start by saying I think we came on an off day. We knew right away, the only server there had someone call out, and had to bring their daughters in. The daughters were amazing delivering food and clearing tables, helping the mom. Seriously, your kids are great, and so great for helping you. They seemed really excited to be there, and when the occasional person would slip them a dollar bill they got even more pep in their step. We both got Turkey sandwiches, and they were good. I know the patio was full that day, and that woman was doing the best she could, but really she did a great job, and her kids were an awesome help.”
