“First time in since becoming The Coastal Taproom and what a pleasant surprise! Beer selection was diverse and quality. Ambience is comfortable and fun with a sunny welcoming patio filled with many choices of outdoor as well as indoor games…. The bartender was helpful and friendly! So happy to see this upgraded taproom in Cambria!”

“Luigi's was exactly what we were looking for: simple, tasty food. The Greek salad was generously portioned with fresh ingredients and a great vinaigrette. The fries were fresh, hot, and crispy, and were pleasantly served alongside house-made ranch dressing. We also ordered the combo pizza (sans Canadian bacon and salami)--it was an American-style pizza that was well-balanced and satisfying. The entire staff was especially friendly and the dining area was clean and well maintained. Overall we had a great time and we were glad to have chosen Luigi's for the evening.”

“This place was an amazing experience all the way around. From the beautiful view, the great service, and most importantly the AMAZING food! We had a large party so I tried almost everything each person got and I was incredibly impressed. So much flavor, huge portions, overall great quality. Also we got there in the middle of the lunch rush but given how quickly our food came out, you wouldn’t have known. I live in LA but visit morrow bay a few times a year to visit family. This will be our regular spot when we come right along side Firestone Grill and Splash Cafe.”

“Glad to see this new spot open up and change up the offerings in town. Didn't realize they were opening this weekend so it was cool to be among the first people to come in and check this place out. Seems like a super friendly family owned business as everyone there was really nice and seemed to be working on some aspect of the business. Really nice layout, cozy but open, and easy to read menu. Decided to try a hot and cold sandwich to test out for the first time. We ordered their philly and their peruvian triple. Both were decent size and you could see them making it. The hot sandwich goes through a small conveyor oven to cook and it worked pretty well. Their philly was different from what I normally expect, but it was pretty good. The beef was overcooked unfortunately, but the sandwich tasted good nonetheless. The peruvian triple sandwich was pretty interesting, it definitely reminded me of sandwiches I've had out of the US which made it feel more authentic. It was well made and was really fresh. It was a unique combination of flavor, I'd probably try again with their chipotle option. I'm definitely looking forward to going back to try their breakfast options. Not too many places to find crepes around here, so that should be fun. A nice unique addition to the food scene in downtown Morro Bay.”

“3-28-24 Took some friends back. Still not disappointed. Had the duck, pork chop and salmon. Roasted artichokes to start. Everything was delicious. Our waiter Omar was great. Sara was our waitress last time and both are very knowledgeable and truly seem to enjoy their work. The desserts were beautiful and amazing. This will definitely be a new favorite. 3-19-24 This is a very nice restaurant hidden behind a coffee shop. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere and amazing food. We enjoyed the grilled octopus appetizer and their white bean and vegetable soup. My husband had the lamb chops with mash and Asparagus. I enjoyed pasta with sausage and prosciutto. It was creamy and so tasty. We shared a milk passion dessert and though it wasn't our first choice, it was good.”

“Excellent food and service was friendly if a bit slow. You can tell that it is a family run business and they take pride in a meal well done. We ate breakfast there two days running because it was much better than the continental breakfast at the hotel. And they had mimosas! Four different entrees over the two days and everything was quality. The eggs were cooked correctly, the bacon was crispy and crunchy but not burnt. The biscuits were flaky and buttery and the gravy lacked a little kick but was a good a cream gravy. The chicken fried steak was crispy and delicious, well cooked and tender the same gravy used could use some spice or sausage drippings. The French toast had a crispy coating and could have been a little thicker cut but were delicious enough for me to take leftovers home. Overall, a good experience and nice little diner.”

“In a world where speed meets taste, there's a spot that's winning the race. Not just any drive-through place, but one where coffee's embrace is a step above the common base. Starbucks might wear the commercial crown, but here's a brew that won't let you down. Rich and robust, it's a caffeinated feast, turning each morning drive into a treat at least. A jewel in the java scene, so it seems, making every sip a reminder of dreams.”
