Great atmosphere! Service is fabulous. Kid friendly. The food was prepared correctly. The ceviche was my personal favorite.

This past weekend, we created a “Special Valentines Weekend” combining a “seminar” that I needed to attend with a whole bunch of relaxing and enjoying the “coast”..... SF, south. Amongst the stops was “The Flying Fish”. I’ve been enjoying their “fish tacos” since 2004 .... back when they were at the “old shack” ... before moving a few years ago to the newer bigger restaurant setting. Fifteen Years. The new owner (October of 2018) still has SIX people from the old crew, and that includes two cooks. They say that the recipes have not changed.... I’ll guarantee you one thing .... those “fish tacos” have not changed !!! Best that I have ever had !!! Service was superb & friendly .... larger crew and a really great bunch. You can bet I’ll be back many a time .... and when the State yanks my driver’s license .... I’ll hire a driver !!!

Wow I’m so HAPPY! Great menu at the new Flying Fish Grill in Half Moon Bay and the food was super fast and super fantastic! Couldn’t have been better or fresher! Even the electronic device the server carries for orders and receipts is impressive. The food was super hot and seasoned perfectly and the Mumm Brut Champagne ???? was also a delight. Can’t wait to go back, I have a feeling everything on the menu is good!

The most amazing food- great value. New owner- warm, attentive and efficient staff.
We were a big table (15 of us) and we all ordered different items on the menu. We all loved our food.
We are from New York and my son said « best new York steak » is ever eaten!
Highly recommend this place if you are in the Bay Area!

I went just as they opened for lunch. Very helpful and prompt service and food. Everything was quite tasty. Had a $6 per glass white house wine that was good. The place had a cozy tavern feel. Good time!
