Rosewood Sand Hill

I had lunch there Monday, Christian and the two hosts gave a lovely warm welcome and seated us at a nice table by the window. We had several dishes - the burrata and salmon appetizer were very nice and the grilled chicken sandwich. The kids fish fingers is like fish n chips and was good too - not oily and very crispy. Looking forward to returning soon!

Very exclusive, high end, retreat, with friendly staff catered to more affluent clientele, but they aren't snooty about it. They make you feel comfortable no matter what your income is.

I can't comment about the rooms because I was working an event in the grand ballroom. I would expect the rooms are VERY nice from what I saw of the rest of the property.

I would highly recommend this resort like hotel for any stay or event.

A truly luxurious experience, with fantastic atmosphere and outstanding service. Every employee I encountered at the hotel went above and beyond to ensure that our time here was as enjoyable as possible.

What a wonderful urban oasis! Been here for several types of events (wedding, birthday party, corporate event). Service has always been impeccable, and the facilities are always clean and meticulously maintained. Spa is one of the best on the peninsula, and room service food is very good. Highly recommended!

Amazing breakfast on our way to Stanford.
We were lucky enough to score a table on the terrace on a Sunday Morning. What was meant to be a quick stop turned into 90 minutes of pure joy. All the staff are exceptional. Friendly, efficient and just great to be around. Wide choice of menu items, really something for everyone I'd say. Food came quick and was delicious. Great juices and coffee as well. We will be back next time we are in the area.
