Had a great meal here - ordered the vegetable samosas and the chicken biriyani and both were excellent. I appreciated on the biriyani they asked for spice level- my parents don’t handle spice well so look forward to taking them sometime so they can enjoy too. The service was attentive and the portions were a great value; would eat here again or order takeout (I sat near the front and they seemed to have an efficient system for takeaways).

Awesome place for a good Indian food. We just loved the dahi puri and Aloo chaat. Paneer tikka masala and Baingan Bharta was also tasty. The food quality is top notch 👌

The place is expensive but worth it.

Let me start with the best. I loved the decor, the ambiance and even the cutlery (they were heavy and I like it that way).

We ordered dahi puri, rotis and vegetable korma. The dahi puri was perhaps the best I’ve had in the Bay Area, so fresh and yummy. The vegetable korma was a let down - we asked for mild spicy but it was bland. I’m not a chef but when you add corn, zucchini and cucumber to vegetable korma it’s definitely not going to taste Indian. I’m sorry.

Food was fantastic! We’ve been waiting for a downtown MP Indian place for a while - they just opened so still no permit to serve beer or wine but still have some good decor and great setup for small groups and a chill lunch or dinner out.

We came on Sunday for a casual lunch and left enamored with the food - we had dhai chaat and fish pakora apps; the yogurt and semolina felt like perfect balance of sweet and spicy, light and airy and great for sharing. The fish pakora was perfect and flaky, not over breaded or greasy at all. Yum!

Then for mains we had lamb biryani (huge chunks of deliciously cooked lamb in traditional biryani flavors), Goan prawn masala (nice sweet coconut milk curry and good size prawns that were cooked just right), and OMG the butter chicken should just be a required order for everyone! Not too creamy, great flavor.

Service was very fast and good. The place was super clean. The mango drink was fantastic. The lamb biryani was very good. Meat was well cooked and full of flavor. Also the portion was generous. Highly recommend this Indian cuisine in downtown Menlo Park.
