Hidden gem! It's a hotel restaurant, and when you walk up from the hotel lobby your expectations might be tempered. However, the views are excellent when the weather is either very good or very bad, house cocktails have character, wine list is decent, and most importantly the food is all around delicious. The menu focuses on seafood but there are a couple of vegetarian options as well as very solid mean options. Place is unassuming, but locals obviously know what to go for. The place is never full, and never empty.
Moonraker is our go-to restaurant in Pacifica and a contender for the best clam chowder in the peninsula! The ocean view, especially during sunset, is unbeatable. Don't miss Tuesday half off clam chowder and the 3 item $35 chef's prix fixe.
Now if you to fall in love this is the place to visit to stay and dine. This establishment is fantastically located. You almost won't want to leave when it's check out time. The meals are excellent and very tasty and nicely prepared and moderately priced. The staff is second to none in their service. In the hotel and the dining room and not to forget the cleaning services. Everyone is just super Courteous. Room rates are moderately priced for the seasons.
I was only there for work this evening. They had their annual holiday party, but the people were great and the location was beautiful. I would love to go back on my own time as a guest of this establishment
