Patxi's Pizza San Carlos

Not as good as Blue Line across the street, but decent nonetheless. Typical pizza with American apps and sides. OK cocktails. The open air bar is good for hanging out.

I think it was just an off night? We were there at 6pm on a Thursday and it was dead. 2 servers and a bartender couldn't be bothered to check on the tables. Waited 15 minutes for the check, glad I wasn't in a hurry.
The ???? was amazing like all other Patxi's locations.

This is a super casual restaurant that serves classic deep dish pizza. If you order deep dish, also get an appetizer, because it takes a bit longer. We were there around 1pm on a Friday, and it was super quiet, which was nice. The food was good (not great), and the service was decent. It's a good place to go if you want bankable food in a laid-back atmosphere.

Food here was decent. Having always wanted to get proper deep dish pizza you won't be disappointed. It is decent for deep dish though the pizza came out rather cold inside. Knowing it was a Sunday night during football I would have thought would have been OK. Place is relaxed, staff is attentive and good drink options.
