“New HK cafe. Very impressive taste and portion. We’ve been searching for a good one in Bay Area and this is highly recommended! Authentic, not too sweet or salty. The iron grill dish is amazing. The ingredients they use is high quality.”

“Came on a Friday evening, place was packed but they found us two seats at end of bar. Prompt friendly service, food was excellent. Will definitely be back! Recommend the sausage rolls and the fish and chips, Crab Louie was also excellent!”

“All the meat is Halal! Very convenient if you're looking for halal food in San Carlos! Great taste. But they do take a while to make the food, so not ideal if you're in a rush.”

“Stopped in for a late lunch and got most of the place to ourselves. The pizza was great (great crust), pear salad was good, and potato croquettes were good. Overall, great service, ambience, and food. This would be a good place to come at night for dinner and drinks. It is a pretty large spot and I have seen several restaurants come and go here, so hopefully this one lasts. Definitely heading back here.”

“Defintely Poke'd Out after the lunch. Ordering method is broken down nicely and listed down well in the menu. It goes like Base + Poke + Mix-in + Sauce + Add-ons. I have chosen the medium sized bowl where I got 4 scoops of poke instead of mentioned 3, all the sizes get additional scoop as complementary. Chose couple of miso shrimp and spicy crab(it was spicy indeed) scoops. Tofu medley was not that great, tough to satisfy vegetarians or vegans. I felt the quantity was overwhelming for one person, small would be more than enough. Priced around $20 for the medium, it's on the expensive side, but the diverse selections make it recommendable. Note that it’s only a to-go restaurant.”

“Such a cute spot! With an incredible holiday special - the cardamom-white mocha. Got it with almond milk in a big sunny mug and it was so creamy and lightly sweet and cardamom. Was tempted to get another one but didn’t want to get too buzzed, but already wanting it again this week! They’ve got a hidden little outdoor table in the back that’s even quieter than the one on the street, highly recommend. 5 stars!!!!”

“My husband and I had a lovely evening here (once again). We like to come back because it’s consistently good! The food is fresh and although they haven’t changed their menu much over the years each of the offerings are delicious. The wine is very good as well and decently priced. Derek took care of us and was pleasant, attentive to our needs and really went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience.”

“Tried the garden box for lunch today and this vegetarian couldn’t be happier!! Tofu was firm and delicious and I just loved the yellow curry sauce. So many veggies and the perfect amount of crunch and tang with the peanut and lime wedge toppings. I’m going to get this for lunch all the time.”

“I love this place! When I'm feeling indecisive this place hits the spot. So many options, you and mix and match and everything taste so good! I highly recommend this place. Pork Banh Mi review - pork is very tender and juicy, tons of pickled vegetables and fresh vegetables, bread soft and crunchy. Pretty darn tasty!”

“Perfect pita falafel for the afternoon in a beautiful neighborhood. Hit the spot especially with great sauces. Great hospitality by the courteous and enthusiastic staff. My go to place for lunch. The packaging is perfect for a takeaway too. Delightful overall.”

“Love this place. Took a detour from my garlic shrimp rice bowl and tried the Pork Deluxe Banh Mi - it’s addictive! And found out that East Side Banh Mi is a restaurant from Nashville that is now in San Carlos through Noshery. Super friendly staff and service.”

“Got the polo rice bowl for lunch today from The Little Chihuahua at Noshery and oh man was it good!! The ingredients we're really fresh and the chicken was really well cooked and seasoned. And the guacamole (which I'm normally super picky about when it comes to mexican food) was super, super good. Right amount of salt and a great consistency! This will meal become a staple for me. :)”

“The food was okay and price is reasonable, take out packaging is good. The hamachi Kama is smaller than expected, the shrimp tempura has too much breading and the seafood udon turns out to be just salmon fish in it, was disappointed. A dine-in experience might be different.”

“Really neat, lounge layout—advance reservations are recommended! Nice cocktails/mocktails, beer/wine/spirits, & light food options. Diane and John were very hospitable & considerate—easy walk back to CalTrain”

“There's a lot of potential here and I'm glad there's a new Hawaiian BBQ spot. It's not a chain restaurant, so there's potential for homemade Hawaiian flavors from scratch. I'm picky about Hawaiian BBQ, but this does the trick and I would come back. The portions were the highlight. They filled up my plate. The katsu had the right flavors and crisp. I could do without the sauce and it would be better if the sauce was one the side. The ribs and bbq plates were just right with a lot of flavor. The rice was cooked well, which is important not to mess up. The macaroni salad was a little sweet, but I liked the flavor overall. Parking is easy and staff was friendly.”

“This Pizza Guys spot has a special touch. The pizzas are gourmet and high quality. They have pizzas different than the rest and it’s the best Pizza Guys spot I’ve tried. Their customer service is exceptional too. I’d keep coming back here for all these reasons. I like how you can order and enjoy the pizzas here at Faith & Spirits next door.”

“The Lucky supermarket at San Carlos has plenty of parking and a good selection of products . The store is clean and well organized. The staff is friendly. The only problem that I observed is the time one needs to stay in line for paying for his groceries. Despite of that, I recommend this store.”

“My husband and I went in on a recent Saturday night with the intention to have a glass of wine and maybe an appetizer. Once we looked the food menu, we decided to make a meal out of several small plates, along with several glasses of great wine. We had the spinach feta quiche, mom's artichoke dip, BBQ pork sliders, and some of the Savarin soft cheese with prosciutto. All of them were amazing, and the quiche is made with puff pastry-had never had that for a quiche. Yum! The space is super cozy and comfortable, with great music and lighting, and very friendly staff. Will definitely be going back soon!”

“Great little place for a quick Mexican bite. Menu is a bit limited right now, however the server said that they will be expanding it soon. Food was good - salsa was a bit watery and bland. Guacamole needed a little salt (ask for Tabasco and add a few dashes). The fajitas were really good - juicy chicken, steak was well cooked, and the accoutrements were good (I never eat Mexican rice, and I are theirs). All in all, a good place..give it a try, you won't likely be disappointed.”
