Oceanic Restaurant

Lately I've ordered through one of the apps with delivery. The food is consistently good so I decided to drop by on my way home. Much to my surprise it's a restaurant I went to for years. I always thought it was called Jade something or other. Imagine my surprise it is Oceanic. The food and service are still excellent and parking is still sketchy. But the restaurant was clean including the bathroom and kitchen. Nice to see an old friend again. Anything with prawns is out of this world.

This restaurant is very good. I loved their service, it was extremely friendly and the people serving us were very helpful. The food itself was pretty good. The spice was blended nicely and the fried rice was amazing. The only qualm I had was that the food was served at room temperature. After the first round of eating, it lost most of its heat and temperature. However, overall, it was well done. I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

Lotus root/shrimp was superb. Had just enough Chow flavor to bring out all the subtilties of delicate flavor of the lotus, shrimp and black mushrooms. Lotus root was not over cooked still crisp and juicy.
Mo po tofu was good, fermented bean paste???? just right. Not, over powering. Just could of been abet spicier.
Service was great.
Reminded me of China.????
All veggies are fresh, mushrooms, lotus root etc. Not canned or dried.
Real food.
Cooks don't use msg nor over salt food. You can add salt to your liking.
