Expensive, but so much better than the chain right next door for some quality seafood. It's California Cajun, and it's a really nice combination of the most famous kind of Cajun food cooked in a California style. So, it's not traditional Cajun, but it is friggin' delicious.

Enjoy eating with you hands?? I do. Of course if you want to keep your hands and clothes clean you can put on bibs/aprons and gloves.

We ordered 1 pound of shrimp in Cali Cajun spicy sauce (second to highest spicy level: you have to order minimum of 1 pound, and add half a pound thereafter). I'm not a fan of this sauce, it got too much thyme so the flavor was too strong and didn't work well with the shrimp. I would try a different sauce instead. Also, the shrimp was not properly cleaned :/
I would highly recommend sweet potato fries and wings (lightly battered and crispy).

Overall I'd say this place is pretty similar to other Cajun seafood places, with a small menu and reasonable price.

Tip:
Yelp allows you to make a reservation. It was not necessarily for lunch, but for dinner on the weekend or a large group may be a good idea.
