While this place is small, flavors are big. The hot dogs are really unique and delicious. Might be better enjoyed while strolling around down town San Mateo, since it only seats about 10
Expensive for just a hot dog. Long wait on a Sunday
Not quite as good as Japadog - but if you've tried Japadog and miss it, this is a decent substitute.
Since when did hot dogs become a giant snack? I came here for dinner and sadly, I left feeling hungry still. This place is pretty much like Chipotle of hot dogs. You chose a base, meat, side, topping, etc. I got the Bekon hot dog (chicken) on a bun with spicy mango and unagi sauce and pretty much a little bit of all the toppings. It was pretty good, but the bun tasted like it was bought from the market, the hot dog I could have bought somewhere and most of the toppings I actually had a home. It was pretty good, but I feel like I could have easy made this at home instead of spending $8 on a meal that I didn’t even get full from. We also got the shaked fries with aonori (seaweed and salt) and the fries were pretty good, and the seasoning was literally just seaweed and salt on top.
Overall, the meal was decent, but I feel like it was a snack instead of a meal.
