    I went here on a whim, but after that I just had to keep coming back. The food is amazing especially the price point for what you get. And there is lunch deals. This is my go to spot for lunch.

    First of all, it is excellent pizza. The crust is slightly crispy and not heavy at all. Sal's offers interesting toppings (artichokes, etc) and the slices are HUGE. It is truly the best pizza in Santa Barbara.

    The service is always prompt both in the restaurant and for delivery. Prices are surprisingly good, and they do an Entertainment Book coupon that is a great deal.

    Please, do yourself a favor and give Sal's a try. On the second or third time I went in there I noticed a framed news article on the wall from the Independent. It was probably 10 years old and touted Sal's as a little piece of New York in Santa Barbara. Now I understand how good NY pizza is.
