It’s a very nice restaurant and the service is fantastic but I’m only giving it 3 stars because the steaks we order had way too much salt, also the onions rings were soaked in oil as in they put them in while the oil wasn’t hot enough..
Beautiful new restaurant tucked into the perfect location. Highly recommend for a special occasion with a small group so you can try more things. Service was exceptional. Food was excellent and memorable! Clams with chorizo, fried chicken, Tri Tip (impressive especially as we’ve grown up with this cut), Denver, filet, whole lobster and summer corn side were the stars of the show. Okay that’s a lot of stars, like I said, go with others so you can share
Indoor looks amazing. New experience comparing to other restaurants in Town. I don’t have a chance to try cocktails yet. But the food is pretty good. Beef Tartare is super good, highly recommended. The bacon appetizer is good. We got the Boards for entrees. Steaks are not bad. Service is excellent.
Really amazing food, cocktails, and ambiance here. The interior design was very detailed and the circle run flow was a cool concept. The board selection is definitely a fun friend experience, or would be an equally fun date night. The potato rösti was out of this world with deliciousness! 12/10 recommend for your next night out.
Edit to add that the service staff was beyond attentive, if your water glass was half full it would be immediately replenished. Our waitress was very kind and brought out an extra potato dish for me to have since I had arrived late to the dinner coming from work and missed the initial experience.
Excellent, unique food options that are all made from high quality ingredients. The cocktails are excellent and also very unique. The interior design is gorgeous and they made nice use of the space.
The service was pretty lackluster as we had to ask multiple times to receive another drink and three times we had to ask for the check. Finally the manager got it for us and the bartender seemed pretty annoyed that we didn’t want desert even though we had already spent 300+ on food and drinks. While the service was extremely disappointing it was their first night so we tried to not be too upset by it.
OVERALL Rare Society is an excellent addition to Santa Barbara and has the potential to quickly become a go to steakhouse in the area.
