Solvang Flavors

One of the best Italian gelato I had in US. Seriously, it's really good! Check it out

Two vegan/non-dairy sorbet flavors on my visit - mango and lemon. Got the mango and it was okay - nice to have something cold on a hot day but wouldn't get it again, the flavor was lacking a bit. The non-dairy flavor selection looked pretty good. They sell gourmet chocolates that look amazing but apparently they're all made with milk so I didn't try any ($2/piece).

It was good place to get out of the sun and enjoy some wonderful icecream and treats.

This establishment earned every star!!! When we first walked into the store they were super attentive and helpful answering our questions about the chutneys (yes, they they have an assortment of chutneys, dips, honeys, and jams in the back of the store!) We then walked around Solvang and came back to purchase the chutneys before leaving town, and they remembered us! Made us feel very welcome.

I then, like an idiot, left my purse in the store and we drove away to our hotel 30 min away. Once at the hotel, I realized what I had done and big time panicked! One of the workers found my purse and emailed me (smart woman found my business card), and we then got in touch. The store had already closed, but a few workers stayed at the store so I could retrieve my purse. I was SO grateful, they genuinely cared and were sympathetic. I wish I got their names so I could shout out personally, but just know, if you ever read this, I am so thankful for you!!

Oh, and the chocolates are divine!
