“We were waiting for our table at Peasants Feast when we walked across to street to look into the Peasants Deli. We quickly changed our minds and decided on the deli, over the sit-down restaurant. What a great decision. Even tho we had several people in our group we were able to find seating on the indoor and outdoor tables. Between us, we order just about all the sandwich options available. And we can confidently say we made the right choice with the deli over the Feast restaurant. I got the hot pastrami sandwich which was so good. One drawback, I should have asked for melted cheese as that is my preference for hot pastrami sandwiches. And the lady behind the counter taking our order was awesome. Even tho it was busy, she was quick and accurate to take care of all of our special orders and helping with other needs. Even getting a cup of ice from next door for me. We will definitely be going back to Peasants Deli the next time we are in town.”

“Corque Craft House just recently opened. They serve breakfast and lunch on a nice, raised open patio with umbrellas. The menu isn't particularly large...it is divided between breakfast and lunch items, with further division for sandwiches, salads and sweet items. The overall quality of the ingredients is very good and portions are just fine. Their smash burger is popular based on the number of customers I saw ordering it, as is their Eggs Benedict. On the light side, I recommend their Korean Beef salad. The salad features picked vegetables for a slightly tart and vinegary taste to pair with the nicely done beef. As for dessert: their Cronuts (eh, I'm not too fond of the name) are delicious: about a half dozen raised donut sticks with three sauces for dipping...a vanilla cream, a chocolate cream and a raspberry sauce. Pricing is moderate and you pay immediately after you order. Once you order you then are seated. While I have seen this at a couple of other local restaurants, I am kind of hoping they eventually transition to a more traditional model where patrons are first seated and order at their table. Service is mostly good and attentive though I think they are a little short staffed. At the moment customers are not allowed inside, nor does it look like they are ready for indoor service.”

“The food was absolutely superb. The cheese platter was very tasty and something we both enjoyed. I’m not a huge fan of salmon but the way that it was cooked tonight has ignited a new love for it. The mocktails were delicious— we were grateful for mixed drinks without alcohol that were prepared with the same thought and consideration as alcoholic beverages. The desserts were the perfect ending to our meal. Our waiter Spencer was amazing — he was kind, attentive, helpful, and enthusiastic. It was our first time here and we have already recommended it to our friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful experience.”

“OH MY GOD! What is not to love? I have had pretty much everything and it is all spectacular. The Gold Coast Grilled cheese with their bacon added, paired with whatever from scratch soup they have for the week. The Heirloom Tomato, Cauliflower, and squash soups have all been really good and comforting on a cold afternoon. The Grotto burger is a "special" that is made with Stepladder Creamery Cheese. Super indulgent and delicious. The Atterdag Smash burger is a regular item definitely worthy and delightfully decadent and goes great with their numerous selection of choice beers. My husband always gets the Copenhagen Caesar. Their fresh squeezed lemonade is better than anyone else in the SYV, I know (I've had them all). For dessert, you cannot go wrong with "Nannies Frozen Lime Pie" super tart and refreshing. Reina's Cookies PB oatmeal with chocolate or PB ice cream is a family favorite. Seriously check them out online, order and go get it. Their patio is open, but us locals, call ahead and pick up to avoid the busy crowds on the weekends...”

“We were here a few days ago and EVERYTHING was great. Ordered 2 burgers and a sausage. Tasted as authentic as could be. Want more authentic? Buy a plane ticket to Denmark. We absolutely loved it. Know they they will be busy because of the time we live in right now so have a little grace. Wait staff was kind and helpful. I see some complain about pricing but what do you want in a pandemic.
