“So a group of us gals went for a quick trip to try several specialties in town. Hands down this shop had the best tasting danishes. Texture & flavor with perfection in sweetness. Our particular server lacked hospitality but that’s not why we were there. When we were done trying others in town, we went back to stock up for friends back home to try our treasured finds! My personal favorite was the strawberry cheese danish. Yum!”

“Simply charming you are El Rancho Market! So welcoming that you are always a must stop for me whenever in Solvang! Although a tad more expensive than other local supermarket moguls, what El Rancho offers is worth the money. Fresh, organic produce, grass fed meats, natural foods, vast selection of local wines, cheeses, cutesy home decor and lets not forget about the deli and bakery section. Fresh in house sandwiches, rotating hot dishes for breakfast, lunch or dinner meals, great sushi and oh my on their desserts! Baked daily, their wide arrangements of cakes and pastries are simply delightful! The atmosphere, the goods, friendly service and overall experience is truly enjoyable. So enjoyable it's probably the only time you will catch me inside a market.”
