I enjoyed the falafel pita and their chips and guac are quite good (though again, rather expensive at $10). “Excellent breakfast spot in Santa Barbara. Friendly staff, always popular with locals (that's a great sign), and the decor with the bikes and old road signs is simple but fun. The bakery section directly in front of the door welcomes you in with a plethora of selections from sweet coffee cake to soft morning buns, and so much more. If you are looking for something a little more filling, the breakfast burritos are delicious, hot, and tasty. The tortilla chips as a side are dry, but not a concern as they are not the main attraction. Talented baristas make the beverages fast and perfectly. The black coffee choices are on rotation, always fresh, and most importantly: hot! Shout out to the staff for always delivering with a great smile and on time. Love swinging by for breakfast bright and early when I pass through SB.”

We went for brunch on Sunday at 11 and took four of about 10 minutes until a table was ready, but I imagine that was the busiest it gets. Street parking is nearby and free for 2 hours or all day on Sunday.”

“Visiting SB so you now I had to come to the courthouse. Luckily enough, the Courthouse Tavern was right across the street offering delicious drinks, tasty food, and excellent views & atmosphere. I walked in right as they were opening so I got to meet the new beverage director Jim Firek. He made a great vodka sour, and has great vision for the place. Definitely drop by if you're hanging out in the area!”

“Absolutely delicious. This place is just what downtown Santa Barbara needs, it's convenient location (400 block state street) is perfect for locals and tourists alike. The staff are genuine, and hardworking, the proof is in the tasting. They make their own sauces in house and they are terrific and the meat in my wrap was so tender tender moist and flavorful it was almost ridiculous! They have a wide variety of nationalities of cuisines that all meld beautifully. I would recommend this for carnivores and vegetarians alike. The owners spend their money on food quality and expertise rather than interior design, thus it's very basic and simple in there, which is fine by me, I came there to eat not look at the walls. Oh and it's very, very affordable. (especially for downtown SB), for what they do, I give this place 10 out of five possible points!”

“Excellent, unique food options that are all made from high quality ingredients. The cocktails are excellent and also very unique. The interior design is gorgeous and they made nice use of the space. The service was pretty lackluster as we had to ask multiple times to receive another drink and three times we had to ask for the check. Finally the manager got it for us and the bartender seemed pretty annoyed that we didn’t want desert even though we had already spent 300+ on food and drinks. While the service was extremely disappointing it was their first night so we tried to not be too upset by it. OVERALL Rare Society is an excellent addition to Santa Barbara and has the potential to quickly become a go to steakhouse in the area.”

“My new favorite local coffee shop. You pay pretty much the same for one of the regular franchises but you get more bang for your buck. You can really taste the coffee, without having to add extra shots of expresó, which is a big plus in my book! I wish the hours were different, I get off at 5 pm and hit the gym at 6 pm so a coffee before the gym would be awesome! But I still usually try to go Fridays during lunch and Saturday afternoons :) I have recommended this everyone I know and so far they love it!!”
