Parking is easy, and the service great. “La Jaiba is truly a local gem. The food here is always delicious, with everything from their excellent selection of seafood to burritos to some of the best chilaquiles I've ever had. The business is family-owned and everyone here is always friendly and helpful. Plus, they have a fantastic salsa bar with a nice selection of great salsas. Overall, I definitely recommend stopping here if you are craving some excellent Mexican food. I know I often find myself eating here at least once a week.”

The menu has a lot of variety including some noodle dishes, fried rice, porridges, and even dim sum items. Plenty free parking is available. There is what appears to be a full bar at the front and then the main dining area is off to the right. 12 carved heads (representing the animals of the Chinese calendar) with dedicated lighting fill one wall which made me feel like i was dining in an art gallery. I liked that clean spartan look and feel to the dining area but perhaps that isn't for everyone.”

I personally love all of their fish (no spines & you can eat the whole thing) & my husband goes for the pork all the time, but the vegetarian options are tasty too. I kept giving Filipino food a try at other places, but it was missing that personal warm touch you can only get in a loving Filipino home. “Came for dinner on a Sunday evening. There was nothing wrong with the place, but it was just okay. I struggle with Italian because I feel that I could as easily make most Italian dishes myself VERY cheaply. The food really has to be something special to not feel overpriced to me. There were three of us at the table and we agreed that the food was decently good, but heavy. I had one of the specials, which was squash ravioli in a cream sauce. It was somewhat lacking in flavour and mostly tasted of cream. They did bring complimentary bread with oil for dipping. The bread was fluffy and had a light layer of butter and seasoning baked on top. It was pretty good. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall, so parking was not an issue. The interior was comfortable and the staff were polite. They had a single unisex restroom, which was acceptably clean.”

“On the days when I'm starving and craving something but don't know what, I'm thankful for L&L as it becomes my go-to spot where I know I won't be disappointed. I've always received friendly service here from the staff they are always happy to accommodate special requests. The menu is straightforward and the food is consistent every time. Inside, the store is pretty clean and there's always plenty of seating. The only negative feedback I would give is that the parking lot can look filthy at times as there tends to be trash littered all over the ground. It is next to a bus stop where they get a lot of foot traffic, however, it ultimately comes down to the management to ensure the property is maintained and presentable.”

“Typically, this is my preferred Subway in the immediate area especially when the young representative is providing his quick and courteous service. This evening, I was unlucky and it started with a longer than usual wait, which I am willing to forgive. However, when the representative in her 30s reacted after I inquired about the promotional offer, the experience just went downward from that point. Overall, I enjoy Subway as the food is fresh and the value is good. However, when a representative decides to sour the customer and also confront my cell phone usage in the store, then I will take my business elsewhere. I only have limited negative experiences which one can see in my overall reviews. I feel compelled to call out bad service. One thing the representative does not realize is that the savings from a promotional offer normally translate in a high tip. Not today!”
