This is my favorite find of the bay area and go to for a gentle start to the weekend! Porridge with sweet potato and a lot of amazing entrees and side dishes. Pretty vegetarian friendly, love the lotus, bean curd and bamboo dishes!

My favorite Porridge place around the neighborhood. It's easy and super quick to get your food. The servers are all really efficient and trained really well. The price is cheap. Me and my husband go there every weekend.

Nostalgically authentic Taiwanese “tapas” with porridge! The restaurant is semi-self serve, which is why the turnaround is fast (30min tops even on Fri night). You sit down and a bowl of porridge is your base. Wait in line to order tapas from the counter and some additional dishes are available and written on the wall. My favorite was teriyaki eggplant, lions head, and bitter melon! It’s hard to get bitter melon cooked just right that’s bitter but still soft and juicy with a bit of sweetness. Also got pigs feet, pigs ear, salted duck, quail eggs and tofu. Be adventurous and try everything! You can ask for water from the staff.

Loved this restaurant!! Good food and very good services!! Good price for lunch. It's go place for Friday with my sister!!( perfect food after the bowling!!????
