“This place is so tasty and unassuming from the outside! I came here with a friend on a Wednesday afternoon and we had both never been before but he said it was like a Korean midnight market! Food: We got the squid ink corn dog and also the eel rice and the rice cakes! The food was just enough and more for the both of us and there are so many things we haven’t explored yet on the menu! The corn dog was definitely a highlight - the sugar gave it texture but it was still savory and the squid ink made it very unique of a food experience! We also enjoyed the eel rice and it came with a good amount of variety from egg to seaweed salad! Service: Food came in about 10 minutes and they announce your name over the PA system so it feels like a cafeteria! Ambiance: incredibly casual place to go and you’ll feel like you’re back in Asia again! Overall, would come again for the other things on the menu!”

“The place is clean and the service is good! We had sea food hot pot and lamb hot pot. The soup bases are good. The lamb hot pot is a bit spicy even though we had ordered not spicy one. We have one order upgrade rice to the rice with hot spring egg. The eggs are well cooked with yolk soft - more solid than jello, and well flavored with green onion, but the rice is cold. The regular rice is warm. I would prefer to have the warm rice with eggs. The drink, winter melon and lemonade that come with the orders are very good with ice in it, too. But since it's hot pot, maybe hot tea or warm water would go better and be healthier for the stomach!”

“Accidentally skipped lunch and decided to come check this place out to see what the fuss is about. We were hoping not many people would eat at 4pm on a Saturday. Turned out we still waited 30 min. The aroma was very alluring upon entering the restaurant. Unsure when I would be willing to wait to eat here again, we ordered 4 soup bases - 3 vegetarian (tomato, mushroom and spicy) and 1 non-vegetarian (spicy pork). The mushroom soup base was really mild in comparison to the other three, which were excellent. On the other hand, you could drink the mushroom soup base whereas I wouldn’t recommend it for the other 3. We ordered a bunch of vegetarian combos since one of us is vegetarian. The dishes were fresh and the soup bases made everything quite flavorful. I don’t think you need the condiments bar to add more flavor. The bill for 2 turned out to be about $110, which is not cheap considering we only ordered one meat plate. Overall, I liked the food but I’m not sure if I’d come again due to the wait and price.”

Expect to wait over an hour most days and 2 hours on weekends. Keep in mind you get charged $3 per plate so it racks up really fast. You can easily spend $60+ for 2 people. Would recommend for the experience but don't expect Earth shattering sushi ..”
