Pineapple Village

We had lemon chicken, pineapple fried rice and lava fish and they were all so delicious. I never get tired of eating here, hands down it is my favorite restaurant in Gilroy.

My first impression of this place and their food wasn't the greatest. The chow main plate I ordered was weird tasting and very rubbery/ chewy. Hopefully my second impression will be a better one?

I try to grab lunch at this place every time I'm in Gilroy. I've had a variety of different dishes that they serve and I'm never disappointed. The service can be slow at times especially during the lunch rush, but the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Having lived in Thailand, I would say this place is ok if you are looking for something different than Mexican and fast-food. Decor and ambience is nice. Service is fast. But if you are looking for an authentic Thai food experience, this place still needs improvement. It could be considered a fusion Thai cuisine but still lacking flavor and taste. Ingredients just don’t make the cut yet.

Came here with a friend, we ordered curry and dessert, but my friend was so awkward when it arrived. Maybe it was just him, but I loved the curry! Not so spicy, but with enough kick to take my attention away from my seat. The dessert was a perfect as well, apart from what my buddy's reactions were, I guess he's not a foodie after all.
