I would return during times when they had more time to properly serviced their customers. Location is great in Northern Milpitas across from the Fremont border.”

Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks

Address: 522 Barber Ln, Milpitas, CA 95035, USA

Restaurant

“Mixed feelings about this place. The food is pretty decent, but the ordering process could be greatly improved. The food is probably among the best Taiwanese street food offerings you'll be able to find in the Bay Area but not really quite there with regards to taste as compared to when going to an actual night market. It is a good choice however when you need a fix and can't exactly hop on a plane to get it.”

“Good restaurant! From a Taiwanese point of view. Sweet and sour pork, you can tell that meat is very thick, not lots of batter. Other food is good as well. Also, free bubble milk tea!!! It would be great, if change to yellow sweet potato for that crispy sweet potato拔絲地瓜”

Perfect Chinese Food

Address: 550 Barber Ln, Milpitas, CA 95035, USA

Restaurant

“Given the quality and quantity, the lunch price is great! I come here 2 to 3 tines a week, their dinner menu looks great too, I just haven"t tried it. Going back to quality, most food are either at above average.. Examples are broccoli beef, salt and pepper fish or pork and many more. There are a couple of dishes that you should try, example is szechuan style boiled beef or fish in spicy sauce.. Tasty... Maybe not so healthy but good. I have a big appetite as far as Asian goes, and I am always full. The lunch price of 8.95 is also great. I highly recommends it.”

Restaurant

Soup By Parks BBQ

Address: 217 W Calaveras Blvd, Milpitas, CA 95035, USA

Restaurant

“The appetizers are different each time I came I think, which is so great! Especially the fish cake and kimchi. The no.8 rice cake rib soup is the best that I like. The soup is tasty and beef rib is soft but also chewy. Love the clear noodles inside too. Recently tried their sweet rib stew, which is good too. Good for lunch with co-workers and dinner with families. If go for lunch, make sure to arrive early because this place is quite popular.”

QQ Noodle

Address: 416 Barber Ln, Milpitas, CA 95035, USA

Restaurant

“Come here for flavor. Period. Not for service, not for atmosphere. This is basically the Southwest Airlines of lunchtime noodle shops. The main seating area has plenty of seats and there is generally not a wait since they are herding customers in and out like cattle. It sounds bad, but this is what you want when coming to dine here because you have places to be and they have money to make during the Silicon Valley lunch rush in the busy Lion Plaza. So come in, try and know what you want before you sit down, stuff your face and get out. Don't try and chit chat with your waiter who likely won't even smile and don't expect to linger when the food is done. Oh, and when ordering garlic noodles, make sure you switch it to the flat wide noodles. You won't regret it.”

Pepper Lunch USA

Address: 408 Barber Ln, Milpitas, CA 95035, USA

Restaurant

“You get a lot of white rice and a decent amount of beef. But its not seasoned as many reviewers had mentioned, and thus not very good. On the table there's terriyaki, soy sauce, and red pepper seasoning. We also got udon. The noodle is good but the soup is mostly soy sauce. And again, lacking any flavor. For an extra few dollars there are many other options in the plaza with better value, and without the wait. Tuesdays have least amount of wait. Place is clean and service is friendly and fast.”

New King Eggroll

Address: 442 W Calaveras Blvd, Milpitas, CA 95035, USA

Restaurant

“Love their Egg Rolls and chicken wings! But if you have been here getting party trays there it seems unclear at how there process works as pretty much everyone in line is waiting with no order to the line your waiting in. But when you finally walk out with your order and able to sneak a few.. you realize one of the reason why you put up with living in the valley.”

Taiwan Cafe

“Nice traditional locally owned diner. Good if you want to stay away from the chain restaurants. I had an omelette, and it was super fluffy! Very delicious. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. It seemed like they had worked there for years. Too bad the place was fairly empty, but the location is kind of odd.”

Jiuding Flavor Restaurant 九鼎香火锅

“It's a pretty nice hot pot store with good decoration and friendly service. They offer different things on menu, such as preset personal hot pot, shared large pot, and specialty rice, noodles. The portion is good enough to fill you up. Although meat is limited but they do offer lots vegetables, rice noodles, and time to make you feel full (I'm talking about their personal hot pot). The soup base is pretty favorite and I like their tomato soup base. Various sauce and dessert, fruits are self-service.”
