Patxi's Pizza Palo Alto

Shared the hummus starter between four of us which was tasty and well presented. My wife had the Italian salad which she enjoyed. One in our group had a deep dish classic meat pepperoni which we all shared - delicious. I had a forager piadine which was delicious, described in the menu as "Whole wheat crust, eggplant pesto, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, Kalamata olives, mozzarella, aged feta, baby arugula, radicchio, extra virgin olive oil, lemon". Very tasty. Recommended.

Food was good. Due to a recent menu change they put pork on my husband's pizza but comped the pizza because we had to wait for another. Thankfully, they gave us a full explanation and went out of their way to make sure we were pleased with service and food.

Their deep dish pizza's are very nice. However, they take 45 min to bake. 45 min might pass in a flash if service is better. Servers are not very attentive. Never were the water glasses refilled. Appetizer plates weren't even cleared when the pizza arrived.
