Glad they were open for a late lunch. Pretty expensive. $48 for lunch for 2 with hot tea. Food was good, not a lot of alternative choices at 3pm.

I went here for the first time on a Sunday evening with a friend and was extremely happy with the service, hospitality, quality of food, and pricing of their dishes. The menu has several **chef recommendations** listed so we definitely took them for the challenge... BEST decision ever. The Jasmine Fried Rice with Beef is incredible, as is the other 6 dishes we ordered.

Simple recommendation--follow the stars.

Good, but over priced dim sum. About what you would expect for downtown palo alto. A good amount of outdoor seating, which is nice. Heaters keep the outdoor seating comfortable even in the winter. Main complaint is the cost.

We were excited to find this rather design Chinese restaurant with cool name Steam at such prime location in downtown Palo Alto!

Food is good, location is great, ambiance is modern! However only if the service could be more friendly! We have been 3 times within 1 week, 1 out of 3 is a bit friendly.

All waiters seem speak little English, little mandarin, but only Cantonese! Not very polite to visitors like us! A shame!

Message to the management: it would be great if the Service matches the name and design you selected.
