    MAKE A RESERVATION! This is important as they don't usually take walk-ins (if you are lucky). I'ven going to Dan for many years and noticing their menu transition. A few of my favorite dishes have changed so I am kind of bummed. Anyway, overall the dishes are still delicious. If you are more adventurous eater, skip the rolls and sushi as it is pretty standard here. You go to Dan for beef tongue, uni rice, clay pot dishes...and a few things that are written in Japanese on the chalkboard by the bar area. My recent visit with the yakitori was a bit underwhelming so I am sticking to the dishes.

    Loved the food here. Everything was so good. The black cod buns were amazing. I'd definitely go back again.

    Great Japanese food, fresh fish, lots variety of skewers. Nice place for family and friends gathering. Clam raman is highly recommended.

    Delicious, but hard to get in without reservations. Love the clam ramen, but really everything is delicious! Was pleasantly surprised by the grilled organ meats. Also loved the seared salmon. Don't just show up for dinner, you won't get in.
