    A good place to get a quick bite of Taiwanese street food. You have to order through a touch screen. If the line is long, you could also scan their QR code and order on your smartphone. Then when the food is ready they have both an LED sign showing your order number as well as automated voice announcement. We like their fried tofu the most, very crispy. They don’t have their tables, but there are many just around the corner.

    Taiwanese Street food.
    Known for XXL crispy chicken.
    JiaYi chicken rice has a sweet and sour (vinegary) flavor. The taste is similar to claypot rice. Can't wait to try out the other selection! This site is popular and can have long lines so go early or non-peak lunch/dinner times. Also, there are 2 lines to order: one for cash orders (live person) and a self-order kiosk (tablet). It's a little confusing because there can be 2 long lines and if you're not paying attention to which one you line up you might end up in the cash line 😳

    Fantastic Taiwanese fried chicken (we tried both the popcorn and XXL thigh), and the JiaYi Chicken rice was delicious. A lot more flavor than it looks like it has in the photo, that's for sure!
