The food was great. We did the tasting menu and it was fine. But, the service was a bit rushed. They were busy but that shouldn't matter. Otherwise great experience.
Easily one of the best dining experiences in South Bay we have had. Waiting service is exceptional, timing water refills, plate removals, wine offerings perfectly and in a pleasant mood. Ambiance here was wonderful and warm, with impressive wine cellar and selection available. Lastly, I recommend going with the chefs tasting menu which varies between 7-10 courses, not including wine. The breadth of dishes served was wide while maintaining great quality. Lastly, either go with champagne or wine and unless you are committed to finishing a bottle, go by the glass. Wine bottles tend to skew rather high in price given the quality nature of the place. Our dinner took circa 4hrs from start to finish, including the complemtary chocolates at the end. Highly recommend.
The Duck was unremarkable. Antelope was surprisingly good. Service was a bit too sloppy. Presentation was dull. Dining room was crowded, dark, and overwhelmingly loud. Decorations seemed dated. If you're looking for an outstanding dining experience, look elsewhere.
Visited for a work dinner. We were seated in a private room and served the chefs seasonal menu. Initially service was very attentive but eventually we spent long periods of time waiting for a waiter to appear between courses. The selections were hit and miss IMO but the presentation was top notch. expansive drinks menu and the glass wine cellar is something to see. Great experience and on the expensive side but not unreasonable for a Michelin star restaurant.
This is the kind of restaurant where you dress to impress, valet your car, and escort your significant other to a dining experience like no other. There is a reason this place is a Michelin favorite. The mixed drinks are finely crafted, and the menu is all fresh with seasonal ingredients. Prepare to be dazzled by the cuisine, and be prepared to pay an equally high price for the meal. Your date will be impressed, your palette satisfied, and your wallet thin.
