Great food. Always fresh and quick service. Nice little spot if you're just looking for a fairly quick bite to eat
Walk in, pull the menu off the shelf and add the items you want for your table, then pay ahead and sit down anywhere you like. You can eat at the bar area as well. The dishes are hot and delicate in flavor. Simple menu, not overwhelming...just pastas as a main entree. The soup and salad and bread...the bread is very good lightly dusted with EVOO and sea salt served warm. The ambiance is just ok as you can see in the pictures. $100 for 1/2 bottle of vino, 1 salad, 1 soup and 2 entrees. Good but pricey.
Great, homemade pasta. Nice casual environment, decent wine selection. Get the bread, it's great to soak up any leftover pasta sauce.
You'll end up spending $35-45 per person, which feels like a lot for a casual /takeout place. But the quality is worth it. Their pasta of the day (truffle gnocchi) that was truly phenomenal. Don't skip on the bread, it's worth the $4.
The pasta is fresh and cooked perfectly!
Having got that out of the way, the ambiance of the place is not the most cozy. The restaurant was cold in temperature as well as decor. The thing is must Italian restaurant are formal sit-down places with napkins and wine glasses. Pasta Armellino has the ambiance of a burger joint while serving fine pasta.
