Darla Cafe

We have been here twice now and love it! Lots of traditional breakfast dishes and kid friendly options, but they also have Jok Koong which is to die for! Also they have orange marmalade at every table for your toast. It is clear they have put lots of thought and effort into every aspect of this restaurant. The food is delicious and the presentation of the dishes is something you would find at a Michelin star restaurant. Even the interior design is beautiful. The staff are very attentive and eager to make sure you are happy. It's a new restaurant though, so they might make a mistake as they are still learning the menu. My only suggestion for them is that there are some options on there menu that should be labeled gluten free (like fried eggs) but for some reason aren't, which can be confusing. Also I hope they bring back the gluten free toast.
I really hope this place takes off because it's our new favorite breakfast place.

Cute restaurant with outside patio seating. Breakfast was great with a Beautiful presentation. We will definitely be back!

This place is great! Appreciate the vegan options. And the waiters were so sweet and welcoming to my dog!

Live music would be a nice touch.

One suggestion, have waiters repeat the order before putting the order in.

I just want to say that this neighborhood is tough on new businesses and so it’s important to do more advertising. Have people handing out flyers, giving out samples, open the doors and put balloons or more big signs - otherwise to be frank this place looks closed and we weren’t even sure if it was open! It’s Sunday brunch right now and there is barely anyone here…if you had more signage and advertising I’m sure it would be more full.

Also more variety of hot drinks including chai and coffee.

Excellent food and place. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Portions of food are perfect and the presentation is flawless. Extreme attention to detail.

We went to Darla Cafe for brunch last Sunday. We loved the eclectic menu, the food was great (we had the Turkish eggs and the pancakes with coffee) and great service. We will definitely be going back for brunch.
