They forgot half my order, although they quick to complete it after I drove back. The time, fuel and inconvenience of having to do all of that probably cost way more than the food. They were also very apologetic but that was all.

I live very close to this location and I visit this place at least once a month. I love that this location is open until midnight and the coupons in the mobile app are huge $$$ savers! The reason for the 3-star review is service-related.

The staff would benefit from some additional customer service training. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not saying the service is bad. From my many experiences of visiting this location, I can honestly say that the staff seems to be doing the best job they can. I can't recall even a single occasion in which the staff didn't appear to be working hard, so I firmly believe that the mediocre service is not the result of any lack of effort by the staff.

The service deficiencies are almost certainly an ownership/management issue. I've easily been to this place 100+ times over the past 10 years (don't judge me) and I've never once seen the owner or store manager.

That being said, although the staff is executing to the best of their abilities without supervision, the absence of an owner/store manager creates a void in terms of staff development. That is, there is no leader on-site to have those "in the moment" coaching conversations with the staff. Ongoing feedback and guidance are crucial to staff development and improving customer experience.

My message to ownership/management is that, at least in my opinion, you've hired a staff that works hard and does the best that they can for you. So, for that, I tip my hat to you. Don't ever forget that the best thing you can do for your customers is to do your best for your staff.

Your staff is the face of your business, as they're the ones interacting with hundreds of your customers every day.

They are the mind of your business, as they're the ones serving a quality product in accordance with directed standards.

They are the body of your business, as they're the ones maintaining a clean work area, thus ensuring that your customers are not affected by any food-borne illnesses.

They are the soul of your business, for if the day ever comes that your restaurant should close for good, it is the hundreds of daily experiences created by your staff that will be remembered about your business.

    Just my two cents...

TL;DR - Hard working staff, but mediocre service. Ownership/management needs to train and develop the staff, not out of necessity, but because they deserve it. The staff members at this location are capable of achieving great things, but to do that they need a great leader.
