“You would think that a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in a strip mall wouldn't have some world-class Indian, Tibetan and Nepalese cuisine for a great price, but you would be wrong. We ordered the dinner for 2 for $40, which included choice of 2 entrees, appetizers and dessert for one price and everything, everything!, was just heavenly. And we were stuffed. A month ago we paid quite a bit more at another new "trendier" Indian restaurant downtown, and while everything there was great too, Cumin's food was just all about the flavor and technique. Wish I had taken a picture, but I know I will be back soon.”

“Always delicious vegetarian food, and an all you can eat "cornucopia" option from their buffet, means you'll leave feeling good and nourished. I had the brunch which came with a mimosa and high quality tea (or French pressed coffee). Even the items you might think sound plain are full of flavor, and their selection of additional seasonings/toppings let you customize your meal and puts other restaurants to shame. They also now offer the impossible burger, which I'm definitely going back to try next time. The only drawback on this visit was we had to wait for service because some new staff was still getting their bearings, and we reported wilted/old salad greens to the kitchen, which were promptly replaced.”

“We discovered this place thanks to Groupon. We've gone there twice and the service and food was really good both times. I got the Caesar salad with chicken both times and loved it. My wife got two different burgers and they were both great as well. I'm not sure how it is at night, but during the day it was not overcrowded and the food came out very quickly.”

He was treated with humanity, care, and generosity by the true gentleman at the counter. The staff person was quietly helpful and I only noticed because of heartbreak around how our rigged Ponzi scheme economy throws so many people into homelessness. What a testimony to the sincere kindness of El Patio's staff. El Patio definitely leaves a good taste in your mouth and I have been back many times since and will go again and again.”
