“Tried their food on a Saturday afternoon. Second day of being open. A friend bought a plate over to me. I ordered the mini plate of their Island Fire Chicken that came with one scoop of rice, macaroni salad and cabbage. A mini plate would be good enough to order for one person. The size was pretty good for the price. The seasoning used on the chicken was very good. Get a nice kick from the heat, along with some earthy spice. The chicken had a weird texture to it. Almost like tasting octopus. On top of that they leave the muscle on there, so there's some wasted portion on the chicken. The macaroni salad was pretty plain, but I didn't get any tuna in it (which the online menu said it had), the rice was good and I felt like the cabbage had no purpose to being there. Probably to neutralize any flavors, but didn't serve it's purpose. Overall, I wasn't too impressed with the food. I really enjoyed the Island Fire seasoning used, but that's about it. Don't know if I'd go back unless they improve on the chicken used for this plate.”

“I ordered 2 chicken breast a la carte. When I arrived home, I immediately noticed that I received a regularly sized chicken breast and another that appeared to be more like an undersized chicken thigh. Basically, the other piece of chicken breast was about 1/4 the size of the one I was satisfied with. To be fair, however, when I drove back to the restaurant and brought the concern to their attention... they immediately made it right. Kudos to manager on duty (the sweet young lady that seem to always wear a colorful hair scrunchie) who continues to resolve issues without hesitation whenever an issue rarely comes up. Also, I appreciated how the cook (Martin) apologized for the inconvenience and went back to his kitchen to replace the severely undersized chicken breast right away. The purpose of this review is to really bring the importance of consistently and quality control of items. Customers will naturally expect to receive the same quality (or serving size) assuming it's for the same price. So if this is an issue with a supplier, it's probably something that needs to be discussed. All in all, I'm a huge supporter of El Pollo Loco and have been super impressed with how well the location I recently visited is handling the demand and pressures of a brand new store.”

This is a NEW LOCATION on Mooney Blvd. We ordered the “mountain” sized pizza and it’s insanely huge. Also, the medium combination pizza we ordered was so heavy and full of toppings. The ranch is thick and bomb, the pepperonis are so delicious. My experience was nothing short of amazing, these folks recently opened up and I want to make sure they get a good review of their hard work. Go get your pizza right now!!! Regardless of getting it in the bowl or the 'makiritto' you will not be disapointed! As for the boba they make....😍😍🤤🤤 the boba pearls are always fresh and especially right now with it being hot out, they really hit the spot! The staff is great! “A bed in breakfast feel with speed of McDonald's. The coffee is drinkable black however they do have flavored creamers upon request. The food has an expected level of grease covering which the flavor reflects. The waffles are soft and spongy with a promanent vanilla flavor. The syrup being served warm is a nice touch. The eggs were fluffy and as is expected for a hometown restaurant. The bacon was thin and crisp, sausages were satisfactory if not a little bland, and the country potatoes were a little bland and needed more cooking in my opinion. Service too is fast and has a get and go feel to it as service is often gone before you finish your request. Speaking as fast as they do may correct this. The atmosphere is quaint and has a small town feel. The decor is charming and worth a visit if you enjoy a small town restaurant. Expect to spend 10-12 dollars a plate.”
