Priest Station Café

EDIT: So based on the owners reply, I am bumping up one star as the food was really that good. I will plan on returning at some point, hopefully I get to take my kids to Yosemite next summer. I will be back.

I really wanted to love the Priest Station Cafe but the absolutely poor service destroyed the fact that to their food was great.

When we arrived there were only a couple of people at dinner, it did fill up pretty quickly though.

We were able to order quickly but things went down hill quickly. My app was delivered at the same time as my entree. My friends entree was 15 minutes later and then only when a different server asked is if we had everything. It certainly appeared as though it had been sitting under the warming lamps for a while.

Our drinks were never refreshed, and when we asked for the check from our server it never came, (waited 15 minutes). We then asked the other server about it bill and she said well everyone wants their bill right now and walked off.

10 minutes later she asked if we had gotten our check, but we still hadn't. Finally a couple of minutes later it came and we paid and left.

Would I try to eat here again, absolutely. I hope they were just haveing an off night.

The house made sauerkraut was a perfect addition to their bratwurst entree, as was the pickled cabbage.

And the view from deck is great.

When you reach the top of the Priest Grade you and your car both need a break. A break with shade, good burgers and sweet-potato fries, with gluten-free and vegan options, damn good service, and great views--and it's there. We stopped in last Sunday and thought we'd have to wait a long time for everything, it was so busy--but no, everything went like clockwork. Great place.

Delicious sandwiches and homemade potato chips. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. Amazing mountain Views and of 120 (New Priest Grade). Came back a second time because the food was so good.

A delightful little place along the 120 north of Yosemite national park. We stopped for lunch and were not disappointed. Great food and friendly service. I can see a return visit in our future!

Loved the place and food. Very good portion in reasonable price. Good to take a break and freshen up while driving towards Yosemite National Park and Mammoth lake. Staff was nice.
