Ketmoree Thai Restaurant and Bar

Atmosphere is great. Service is slow but solid. Spicy level is traditional Thai and not the watered down North American version. I had Drunken Noodles and I’ve definitely had better, but it was good. Mango and sticky rice was well done. Has a full bar with a decent choice of local craft beers. Parking is easy to find since it’s just on the edge of where all the downtown shops start.

Have to say I am very disappointed. After seeing such great reviews about this place I thought my experience would have been better. We ordered takeout, after arriving had to wait another 30 minutes (with no updates from anybody) for our order. It was not busy, only 3 tables were occupied.

The worst part of the experience was when the gentleman brought out our food, he set it 3 tables away from me, said, “ here it is” and we never received an apology about a long wait.

We will not be back, the food was decent not the best, but the lack of attention and arrogance of staff is the main reason. It is unfortunate; you could have gained a regular customer.

Ketmoree has more than just tofu for vegan protein. The drunken noodles with vegan beef is great. Just ask for the noodles to be vegan as otherwise it comes with an egg. You can also get Thai iced tea with coconut milk and the curries are excellent too.

Had the pad kee mao with scallops and it was fabulous! I've never had this dish with green beans, but they were a welcomed addition. AND the take out portions are spectacular (larger than normal takeout)

Phenomenal. The Asian manager always greets us. This place has very nice, fancy atmosphere all around, yet the food is affordable. The portion is bigger than other Thai places around Davis. I personally travel a lot around Asian countries. This place may offer the 100% authentic Thai flavor, but it does a great job creating the perfect flavor between Thai and American.

My girlfriend and I love this place. We will visit again soon.
