Hikari Sushi & Omakase

Probably one of the better places to get something to eat in the Davis area. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. The food was really good, you can actually taste the quality of the ingredients compared to a lot of “sushi” places that are in the area.

I wouldn’t say the best sushi I ever had, but it obviously one of the best sushi in Davis. Also it has the best furnish as well as survice among other sushi restaurants in Davis. Satisfied freshness of their fish and lkura, but the tamaki in their omakase plate is little bit blow expectation; the nori around is too soft and not that easy to chew while eating. The chief claim he has over 20 years sushi experience so the quality is trusted. Besides omakase plate they also has some average price sushi, between 10$-20$, overall is a good place for trying.

The best sushi of my life. My partner and I literally cried because it was so good. Sithu and Zin put so much love into the food, into the restaurant, the plating, and everything from top to bottom, inside and out. No corners cut. You can TASTE it!!!

True healing food and they only use sustainably-caught highest grade fish. Salmon and tuna melt in your mouth.
