“I wish I would've caught her name, but I had a wonderful experience here because of one of their female cashiers... on one of my most unlucky days, she completely turned my mood around with a joyful attitude and great customer service. I had run out of gas literally right inside the parking lot, I'm on vacation here visiting, and because of my location change my bank locked my cards, hold would have been more than thirty minutes to even get a live assistant to help me, so in a last choice situation I counted out ALL of the change I had... $19 dollars worth to be exact and started my walk of shame to count it out inside. I apologised, and before I could even explain my situation she started to ring me up, happily counting my change, (as a cashier myself I can tell you how much we hate all change, especially large purchases), i counted with while I explained, and then realized i didn't know the pump number, not only did she figure it out for me quickly, she also set me up with a cold drink since I was exhausted. Wonderful lady, wonderful experience, great store”

“This place was amazing. Pam and Lee are the lovely couple that run the place..Kapri works at the register and shes a sweetheart. It was a wonderful experience they let me try some homemade split pea soup and it was delicious. Sad I didn't get to try the pizza but I know I'll be back. It was my first time staying at the resort and it felt like home. Visit the Cafe and trust me it's worth it.”

“This was one of the most beautiful Starbucks I have been to in California. Located near almond, prune and walnut orchards. It doesn't get any better than this.”

“A great addition to the already wonderful Winters food scene in the new long-awaited Hotel Winters. We went for drinks and a bite at the bar during their first busy weekend and everything went smoothly. The decidely Italian fare – of the little bit we sampled – was tasty, with well-executed pizza crust and delicious housemade pasta. Service was friendly and prompt. The decor was simple and modern-rustic, but could have used some softer touches (like flowers or warmer lighting maybe.) A prominent bar when you walk in the main street entrance is flanked by the main dining area on one side – with high ceilings, brick walls, large windows, and exhibition kitchen – and on the other side, a set of small booths and mini marketplace/food-to-go area nearer to the hotel lobby. Looks promising, can't wait to explore the other menus.”

“Completely renovated from what I see on the google photos. Place is open and awesome! I love the menu variety and the employees were enthusiastically helpful to decide what I wanted. Great choices for what's on tap, fresh salad bar and homemade soups, managers came around and were friendly. LOVED the live music they're doing on a regular basis!”

“Actually a very good place. It is kind of hidden near a beauty salon. There's a guy there who is really nice, not sure if he is the son of the owner but he did have some inside knowledge on the restaurant. Ocean is a small restaurant so best to go during an off time maybe in order to get a good booth? Not sure if it gets super busy but just wanted to note the small, cozy atmosphere.”
