“Wait staff were super kind and attentive. Food came out fairly quick. I got the chicken lettuce wraps for an appetizer. HUGE portions and not very expensive! Got beef drunken noodles for entree. It was fresh and flavorful and significantly spicier than I am used to for this dish. I'm used to more of slightly sweet but spicy with a vinegar base and this was a bit different. But good! “I waited to write my review until we came back a few months after our first experience (soft opening) because we knew there were a lot of kinks that they needed to work out. I think they are headed in the right direction..We did not know about the happy hour deal. If I were the owners I would definitely advertise that a lot more because it's a great deal to get people into the door. The service was great until it got a little more busy. We had to go to the bar to grab someone to close us out. No one told us about the lower prices but I heard the waiter tell the people behind us. The pork dirty nachos were delicious. Way better than the first time we had them. Someone by us got the sliders which looked really good! All in all this was a much better experience, friendly people, good food, and the pricing is a lot better Will be back!”

I won't lie I was a bit skeptical we ordered a cheese steak plain and a bacon cheeseburger plus an additional cheeseburger plain for my son who is just getting over a stomach bug. The cheese steak is to die for and I am not a big fan of them. The bacon cheeseburger was one of the best burgers I have ever had!! The plain cheeseburger was killer as well!! “I’m excited that our area is getting more diverse food! I’m a first-gen African (Congolese) and I love eating African food. I tried the personal taster platter and it was a great price for all of the food involved. Says it feeds to 1-2 but I was able to distribute amongst 3 people. The presentation was awesome and our take-out meal came with the paper menu, business card and a thank you card(great personable touch). The goat was good, but it could use more spice. I’d definitely order more of it!! The ribs we got had a lot of fat on them, so it was hard to enjoy! Could’ve used more flavor too. The rice was really good! The greens weren’t my favorite but it was a nice touch to the meal. I applaud the ambitious chef at BBQn Kenya though! This restaurant has lots of potential and I will definitely give it another try. Next time I will try the samosas!”

“I recently had three tacos from Tacos El Toño - grilled chicken, steak, and beef stew. I don’t know who Toño is but the tacos? -chefs kiss- All three were delicious and fresh. These are the best tacos I’ve ever had in my entire life. And I’m from New York, where I frequented all of the Mexican spots. It was like biting into a taco crafted by the gods. “I have ordered from this restaurant three times. The first time the order could not be completed and I was refunded my money. The second order I got the tomatoe soup and Jalapeño corn hush puppies. Both items were very flavorful, and the quantity of hush puppies was easily double what I expected. I had the falafel fold today. Falafel were on point, very well seasoned and NOT DRY! Most places dry theirs out terribly. The pickled radishes really made the sandwich pop.”
