“We used to always patronize the Las Delicias near downtown., the one on 19th Avenue. With gentrification and hyper-development there, we began to move to this one, the Glendale location. The disadvantages? You have to drive on Colorado Boulevard, at least a little bit. And Glendale has nothing on the downtown vibe, even with all the remodeling everywhere.The advantages? A nice, big, parking lot. That's REALLY nice. Also, a wide veranda on the east side of the building. Otherwise, it;s the same good service, the same menu, the same wonderful food. It’s just as delicious, that’s for sure.”

“I really appreciated this place! I got the enchiladas, and they asked which sauce. I was confused so I said mild, and that was their green sauce! Which is sweet....and I wasn’t really excited about them at all. They were nice enough to make it right and gave me a small steak quesadilla. I will definitely be back, and recommend this place highly. Delicious. Definitely give it a try. :)”

“This place is out of this world for a variety of great vegan cuisines! The service was quick even for having sit-down service. We heard the burritos were amazing but we have something else that was still to die for! The lemonades were also very good, especially the lavender one. It was a little hard to find not being from around the area but once we found it, it was easily findable again. I definitely recommend this restaurant to ant person who loves good food, not just vegan and vegetarians!”

“Sam’s is the kind of place you would expect to be a tourist trap. You’d expect overpriced food that wasn’t particularly good. You’d expect to go there once, be disappointed, and never want to go back. Well, I assure you that you’d be wrong in those assumptions. Sam’s is actually a fantastic diner. It is perpetually busy. I can’t imagine the amount of stress working there, and yet every employee I’ve ever interacted with has been friendly and warm. When you go there, it’s not uncommon to wait 30 minutes to be seated, so if you’re impatient, then I wouldn’t suggest going on a weekend for breakfast. But if you don’t mind, the wait is worth it. I’ve yet to be disappointed with any dish I’ve ordered at Sam’s. The food comes surprisingly fast...like within 5-6 minutes. Plus the food is all exactly what you’d expect: delicious, big portions, lots of calories, and you’ll leave with a full stomach. The prices are completely reasonable. For two people, you’ll probably spend around $28. Can’t recommend this place enough.”
