“The counter service was great! The drinks took a little longer than usual, but they were training a new employee so it's understandable. I am vegan, so I get an iced americano with a splash of almond milk. I saw the barista pour regular milk, and then realize it was supposed to be almond. She just poured almond milk on top of it and made the drink like normal. She served it to me and I asked her to remake it - it had way to much milk for me in general - obviously I wanted it without dairy. She fixed the drink no problem and remade it with just almond milk. It was perfect after that. I was glad I was there to notice the mistake. The dairy would have probably made me sick as that has been my experience another time getting the wrong milk. All in all, good service, but an opportunity to train further on not serving a drink that was incorrect.”

As a Mexican woman I have always grew up around prejudice people and treated differently and I grew up thinking that was normal. Julia did something so little that made me tear up. Another lady was taking my order at first and Julia gave a suggestion of how I’d like my drink then she took over the register. This girl provided me with great customer service, she made eye contact, she smiled, very well mannered. This is little to most but big for me! I had to call corporate to let them know. “Outdoor patio is open! I have missed this particular Starbucks. They truly make the best hot, iced and Frappuccino coffees in this part of our Aurora and Centennial City. I’m so glad they finally opened. I was forced to try the Starbucks on Piccadilly/Quincy, Hampden/Tower & Buckly/Smoky Hill during quarantine. They do not compare to the baristas here at Smoky Hill and Himalaya.”
