Meander Riverside Eatery

French Laundry meets local mastery of fine dining in a laid back friendly atmosphere. You’re doing your taste buds a serious disservice if you don’t eat here when passing through Pagosa Springs. The menu is ever changing based on ingredient availability and the considerable talents of the head chef. But the welcoming feel doesn’t stop with the chef; everyone here is clearly interested in making your meal memorable. I can not envision myself not eating here every time I pass through.

Fantastic experience. What can I say? Everything was perfect. We wrote ahead of time to inquire about accommodation for a dairy allergy, and received a prompt and helpful response. When we arrived, there was already a dairy-free menu available for my guest specifying which dishes could be altered for her needs. What a thoughtful touch!

The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Even after I was full, I couldn't stop nibbling at the wonderful morsels on my plate! I did not feel deprived as a vegetarian - on the contrary, the dishes were jewel boxes of seasonal produce.

We dined outside, and the view and atmosphere was enchanting. Service was excellent and attentive throughout our visit. And of course my cocktail was delicious.

I would definitely return, and recommend Meander to all.

My fiance and I decided to go to Meander for dinner during our getaway weekend based on recommendations from local people. The restaurant didn't disappoint.

Everything, from the way we were treated and employees' attitude to the food and drinks, was above the highest expectations. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.

The bartender made excellent cocktails; we even saw her re-making a drink she was not satisfied with (instead of serving it to a guest). That's the level of ownership and high standards you don't see much.

The taste, quality, and presentation of the food were incredible. I am originally from Europe, so are some of the recipes on the menu. This is why my expectations were very high. Everything we ordered was better than I could imagine.

If you haven't tried this gem in beautiful Pagosa Springs, definitely do - you won't be disappointed.

This restaurant is truly excellent! I really enjoyed the food and drinks here. The staff is very friendly and quite innovative with their offerings. I would highly suggest this restaurant for any occasion.
