This restaurant has a super cute location right on the river. We went on a rainy day, but I'm sure when the weather is nice it's gorgeous. Our hostess was SUPER friendly and service oriented, but our waitress was not. The house pickles are SO good, but the food is hit or miss. Parts of entrees are pretty good, but I felt like the "whole package" was missing.
Found this place by accident really. Just on the edge of town and we did not want to stand in bumper to bumper traffic driving through town. It was on the river which was nice and relaxing. The food was good. Mostly just bar type food so somewhat limited but we enjoyed the location. Young people working there and they could have been a little more happy.
Fun service and view was perfect. 8 people at the table. We ordered a variety of items. Each person commented on how good it was. Waiter has personality! Happy to wait on us. We all loved eating on the river. There will be a wait, but it's worth it!
Does get busy, but the bar is open to you while you wait!
Food at the other Riff Raff location was a little bit more extensive but the on-the-Rio aspect was a cool experience worth trying atleast once!
They had some beers that were at one location but not quite tapped at the other yet so was fun trying so many by visiting both!
They also have Vinyls on rotation so it was super cool listening to throwback tunes!!!
Good food, good house-brewed beer, friendly prompt service, and a lovely deck overlooking the river. I had the street tacos (1 sausage, 1 pulled pork, and 1 brisket) with sweet potato fries while my husband had a spicy barbecue and green chili bacon cheeseburger. We cleaned our plates completely and had another beer each as we watched a pair of Canadian geese escort their three goslings back and forth across the rapid current of the river.
