    We - 4 of us and another couple ahead of us. showed up as they were about to close ( an hour early for unknown reasons). Our waitress Shar said she’d ask the chefs if they would stay open and cook for us and the my did! My husband and our friend had the best ribs they have had in a long time! My Bison burger was amazing and our waffle fries with the buck stop seasoning were sooo good. Great service. Great food. Would come back if we lived anywhere near here! We even bought some homemade seasoning to take home.

    I've been looking for quality filets for home-cooked steaks since we left Texas (HEB USDA Prime-equivalent) and The Buck Stops Here has been the only place in Pagosa Springs that can not only meet but exceed what I fondly remember. If you want cuts of meat from people that care, this is it. It's been a year since I've had steaks this good without paying for them at a high-end restaurant.
