“Manager is an amazing mixologist. I tried a new drink she put on the menu and it had cinnamon whiskey and peach something and it was so perfect! This is a great place to grab a drink, but I think the food could use a little sprucing up and freshness. It's typical bar food, we got chicken fingers and fish and chips, a BLT and a burger. The burger looked like the best of all, juicy and flavorful. BLT could have used more bacon, but it wasn't too bad. Chicken fingers were mechanically separated and I'm guessing originally frozen and the fish looked pretty standard. Food prices are a little on the high side, but I guess you are paying to eat in the mountains. Interior could use a little more work, kind of drab and boring. Sitting outside in the summer would be very nice at this tavern nestled up coal creek canyon surrounded by mountains.”
