Food was good. Place was a little pretentious. No ice in the water. When I asked for some ice, as it was pretty hot in there, they looked at me as if it was the rudest thing I could have said. I was a bit taken back that asking for a cup of ice would be such a bad thing. Anyway, good food. Good atmosphere. Pretentious.

Had a girls weekend in Buena Vista to celebrate a birthday and wanted to go to a nice place for a birthday dinner. They don't take reservations, but they were extremely kind in calling us once a large table had opened up since we were a larger party. The food is very high end with great drinks, apps, and luxury entrees. Additionally, our waiter was great and even took a few photos for us as we were in 70s themed attire for the occasion.

A beautiful addition to the Surf Hotel in Buena Vista. The desserts are some of the best, and the bar is a cozy and peaceful environment that offers a calming but engaging experience. The service is quick, and the location is very convenient if one stays at the Surf Hotel. It overlooks the beautiful river, which adds on to the relaxing ambience.

Phenomenal food with amazing flavor! The lamb pops were so good, and the calamari was the best we've ever had. We even got to meet Ryan from the kitchen that prepared this amazing meal for us, and got to tell him personally how much we appreciated his efforts. We are staying at the Surf Chateau celebrating out anniversary and so happy that we decided to eat here as well.

Incredibly delicious gourmet grilled cheese sandwich made with house fresh , though. Fantastic French onion soup and tomato soup, too. Top-shelf port and fresh squeezed grapefruit juice made up our meal for two.

This is definitely one of the finest dining experiences I've enjoyed in a long time, and I travel well frequently. The service was friendly, helpful, and attentive.

We were grateful that staff didn't rush us out even though we were the last ones there. It was actually a magical experience because when all the people left, we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and music even more. For this and the artisan shop down the street alone, we'll return to Buena Vista soon from Texas.
