“Cute little spot in Salida. Jumping on a Tuesday since most other places were closed. Didn't go terribly late but they were out of many breakfast items already, so I guess the takeaway is get there early! Loved my smoothie bowl and spiced latte. Great honor system for coffee. Would be helpful to have some clearer signage about where to queue, put dirty dishes, etc. Out of the several dozen people who came through or were working there while we stayed and ate, only 1-2 besides us were masked. Didn't seem like a political choice, but a heads up if you have concerns.”

“Good food, nice location, nice people, however... When the cashier asks "what kind of cheese would you like on that sandwich, would you like sprouts on that sandwich, would you like a tomato?', etc... they should tell the customer BEFORE they run the credit card, that they are charging the customer for every item on the sandwich that they just so casually asked the customer about. Normally when I hear the question out of the blue "what kind of cheese would you like on that sandwich?" I assume that that the cheese is included with the sandwich and that I will not be surprised by finding a charge for cheese that I didn't even initially ask for. There was a 50 cent charge for lettuce for God sakes! The only way that I knew that I was charged separately for each of these items was that I asked for the receipt, which was not given to me until I asked. Having said all of that, l really do like the place and will continue to support it.”

Friendly locals, was invited to sit with the good old boys S and S and D....and the awesome folk that work there are on top of it..hardly get your 1st sip of great coffee and your meal is there just as you ordered it. “The best burrito in town! It taste fresh and is very generously loaded with veggies, egg, and potatoes. The veggie frittata was excellent as well. Great serving sizes. The mocha coffee was delicious and smooth. The oatmeal is awesome for how simple it is and I love that they ask you if you would like to add something sweet instead of making it sweet from the start. Highly recommend this coffee shop! We always come here when in town for a quick breakfast before taking off to explore.”
