Tommyknocker Brewery

The bison burgers and the root beer are always fantastic. Tried the duck wings this time and was not dissatisfied in the slightest. This place is always busy, food is always great, service is friendly and quick. One of my favorite places to eat in Idaho Springs.

I really enjoy stopping here as a break between the Denver area and the ski resorts. Parking around here can be challenging, but you can find spots within walking distance. The restaurant itself is broken into several dining areas and the bar area, which has a great fireplace and views of every sporting event on several large screen TVs. The service is prompt and knowledgeable, and the beers on tap are plentiful. The menu is limited, but it covers plenty of options for a filling lunch to pair with your beer of choice!

Nice little place in to have a meal + a drink. Their own beers are delicious as you'd expect from a Colorado brewery. The meals were hit or miss. Some in our party really enjoyed the food while others felt like it was just okay.
Certainly not a bad choice for dinner!

This is my favorite place to go in Idaho Springs. It's always easy to find close parking (there's a large parking lot in the back), the beer is fantastic, and the food and service has always been great. I especially love their seasonal pumpkin beer served with a pumpkin sugar rim!

I've been many a good food place. This one has beat them all. Nothing any of our group of four ordered was less than outstanding. The service was impeccable, and even though three of us brought in a coupon for a free drink we were treated no differently than any other patron. Absolutely making an excuse to come again.
P.S. Although its a side note, the beer is exceptional as well.
